Casa Lucia is the perfect place to enjoy the peace and quiet of a medieval stone village.
Besalú is a place where past and present merge, and Casa Lucía conveys this feeling through an old house, refurbished and perfectly equipped, with a very nice light. Decorated with taste but most importantly with heart, the house respects the traditional Catalan colors and styles, allowing you to feel relaxed and active all at once. Here you will find everything you might need and you will be able to feel just like at home.
The downstairs apartment is for 4 people and includes an independent kitchen, a bathroom and a private lounge, as well as a bedroom with a double bed and a sofa-bed.
This guesthouse is located in the center of town, which results in a feeling of harmony and balance between the culture and centuries old tradition and the renewed positive energy of the house. This will allow you to relax from the hectic city life or, if you prefer, enjoy the liveliness of the town. There is a fruit and vegetable market on the main square on Tuesdays where fresh produce from the neighboring fields may be found, and one Sunday a month there is an antique fair. However, the streets and squares of Besalú are usually lively both day and night with young and old people alike, no matter the day of the week.
Casa Lucía is also the perfect starting point to reach all parts of the town in a few minutes.
The range of activities is wide: you can chose to take a bike ride, to go for a swim in the local swimming pool, take a hike through the countryside or nearby mountains, to have awalk or shopping stroll around the village and enjoy its magnificent Roman architecture, to dare and explore along the riverbanks... And if you decide for a longer stay, you will certainly find it worthwhile to visit some of the surrounding towns, like Girona, Figueres and Dali's museum, or Olot and volcanoes, and the towns of Santa Pau, Castellfollit de la Roca, Beuda, trekking in Sadernes... The options are countless!
In Casa Lucía everyone is free to find their own thing, with the comfort of knowing that, during the hottest hours of the siesta or when the night falls, there will be an intimate and cozy place to come home to.
